Every year at the tail end of summer, the Village of Hatch New Mexico celebrates their chile harvest with a two day festival over labor day weekend.  This famed event treats festival goers by offering samples of chile recipes, horseshoe games, chile ristra contests, artisan foods, and a carnival.
