If you happen to be Star Trek-ing across New Mexico at the end of June, you may want to consider stopping in Roswell for the town’s annual UFO Festival.
Every year, the town of Roswell holds this event in recognition to the mysterious crash that happened in early July 1947 that spurred wild speculation and conspiracy theories over the last 70 years.
Personally, I don’t know why they’re all still questioning it. I know exactly what happened… A recently developed stealth bomber engineered by NASA scientists was attempting a supersonic test run in 2014 while at the height of our Sun’s solar flares. The aircraft, incidentally, met with some intense gamma radiation. That, combined with the vehicle’s high speeds, caused a tear in the space/time continuum throwing it back 67 years in time… I mean, doesn’t that make perfect sense?
*ahem* Anyway, if you’re like me and you want to believe, come enjoy a festival filled with vendors, games, contests, and much more.
