Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a holiday celebrated in central and southern Mexico typically November 1st & 2nd coinciding with the Catholic holiday "All Soul's" or "All Saint's Day". It is traditionally a celebration meant to bring together friends and family members so they may honor the departed and support their spiritual journey through offerings and prayer.

Old Mesilla Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 2017
The Mesilla Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Shopping Late event will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 8 on the Mesilla Plaza. Officially bringing the holiday season to one of the most popular tourism and shopping destinations in southern New Mexico. Mesilla businesses will have extended hours for late shopping.
