Keagan's passion for film making began when he entered a media magnet program in middle school. He continued his film studies through high school and college, eventually earning a degree in Digital Film Making from New Mexico State University. Keagan stayed busy working professionally through out college including working as an assistant on studio and independent features, an internship at Bully Pictures in Santa Monica, CA, and producing and directing short films, music videos, and commercials. After earning his film degree, Keagan moved to Albuquerque to continue his freelancing career. Some of his most recent credits include Production Managing the Albuquerque unit of the independent feature Cigarette Soup, and Producing the short film Buffalo starring Craig Tate (12 Years a Slave). He also serves as the video manager for the website NewMexi.co.
