City of Rocks
City of Rocks is a historic, unique, State Park in our beautiful state, New Mexico. Formed over 34 million years ago from a large volcano, the rocks formed a very unique, statuesque rock formation. Some as high as 40 feet creating a truly breathtaking landscape.
City of Rocks is located off Highway 61 in between Deming and Silver City. If you’re looking for a great little getaway that’s not too far from home, we recommend taking in all of the wonderful scenery that City of Rocks has to offer.
