The organization also educates the public and holds exciting events like this one:
Who’s Going to Rails Along the Rio Grande?
Rails Along the Rio Grande is the organization’s most fascinating and colorful event. The event features huge displays of exquisitely detailed operational layouts. There are model trains running through thousands of square feet of beautiful artificial landscapes. Children’s eyes go wide with wonder and adults become children again beside them. It’s an experience that your family won’t forget, and kids under 12 get in free ($5 for adults); so it’s among the most affordable of the holiday events. Are you going to Rails Along the Rio Grande! this year? Let us know in the comments!
