Desert flower at heart! I am a New Mexico artist, designer, entrepreneur and Land of Enchantment admirer. I love nachos, prickly pear margaritas and the smell of NM rain.

You forgot to add the smell of rain. People don’t understand that out here the rain has a smell.

I don’t mean to be a downer, but except the things specific to New Mexico…chilis, Roswell, etc- I live in a place that deals with several of these issues as well- Texas! The hot steering wheels, the nasty burrs on everything, washing your car then it rains…. Now, I do feel like like #2 should be #1! And I wish I lived in New Mexico…only place you can go from desert to mountains in two hours or less…!

Rattlesnakes on a slick kitchen floor. Just sweep them back outside,
